According to him “it shows that the government recognises the effort the Governor, Sir Benedict Ayade making in Cross River State. The agro-industrial revolution has never been like this before, and he is on the right path to economic prosperity.
Speaking on the role of the legislature in sustaining the development, the Parliamentarian maintained that as lawmakers, they will continue to provide enabling legislative framework that will support his vision and aspiration for the state particularly as it concerns industrialisation.
The legislator averred that, lawmakers will continue to give the needed support and advise to the Governor in coming up with right policies, projects and proper implementation of programmes that will advance growth and sustain development.
He noted that the synergy existing between the executive and legislature in Cross River will continue to be sustained for the benefit of the people, pointing out that conflict between arms of government is not healthy for any nation, state or region.
